  • Owner Identification (for new customers): NRIC (front), FIN, or Passport for verification.
  • Cat Information: Name, breed, sex, microchip and licence numbers, vaccination, medical and behavioural details.
  • Emergency Contact: Name and phone number of your designated contact person.
  • Payment Information: Partial payment details or transaction confirmations for deposits and bookings.
  • Photos and Videos: Images or recordings of your cat during its stay (for updates or promotional use, only with your consent).

2. Purpose of Collection

Tiny Paw collects personal data for the following purposes:

  1. To manage and verify cat boarding service bookings.
  2. To establish and verify owner identity (for new customers) and prevent abandonment or untraceable ownership cases.
  3. To comply with AVS and NParks regulations regarding cat boarding and licensing. Learn more about cat licensing on the AVS website.
  4. To provide health, safety, and emergency support for your cat during its stay.
  5. To process payments, refunds, or credits.
  6. To send updates, reminders, and communications regarding your booking.
  7. To improve our customer experience, website, and service quality.

Under this Tiny Paw Privacy Policy, we ensure your information is used only for legitimate purposes such as AVS compliance and cat safety.

3. Collection of Owner ID (for New Customers)

To ensure responsible pet ownership and traceability, Tiny Paw may request a copy of the owner’s NRIC (front), FIN, or Passport for verification purposes if you are a first-time customer.

This information is:

  • Used solely for identity verification and traceability in the event of ownership disputes or abandonment cases.
  • Stored securely with restricted administrative access only.
  • Deleted within 30 days after your cat’s check-out unless required by law for reporting or investigation.

Returning customers will not need to re-submit ID unless their details change.

4. Data Protection and Security

Tiny Paw uses appropriate administrative, physical, and technical measures to protect your data, including:

  • SSL encryption (HTTPS) for all form submissions.
  • Secure file storage with restricted access.
  • Password-protected admin access for authorised staff only.
  • Scheduled deletion of sensitive uploads after 30 days.
  • Regular security updates and plugin monitoring.

However, no online transmission or storage method is fully secure. We strive to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes stated in this policy or as required by law. ID copies and sensitive uploads are permanently deleted 30 days after check-out. General booking records may be retained for up to 2 years for accounting and audit purposes.

6. Disclosure of Personal Data

We do not sell or share your data with unrelated third parties. We may disclose limited information to:

  • AVS or other authorities when required by law (e.g., animal abandonment reporting).
  • Veterinary clinics or emergency services for the care of your cat.
