Terms and Conditions for Hotel Boarding
Welcome to Tiny Paw! By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Included Amenities:
- Cosy individual spaces
- 24-hour air conditioning
- 24-hour CCTV monitoring
- Twice daily room service
- Twice daily housekeeping
- Scratch boards / climbing platforms / cat trees with scratch poles in select suites
- Complimentary access to the Tiny Paw Fitness Centre for daily exercise
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- Free cancellation is available up to 14 days before the check-in date, subject to a 10% processing fee.
- Cancellations made between 14 days and 48 hours before check-in will receive a 50% refund.
- Reservations canceled within 48 hours of the Paw Guest’s check-in date will not be eligible for a refund.
- All refunds will be issued as Tiny Paw credits, which can be used for other services or future stays.
Health Requirements:
- All cats must be up to date on vaccinations and free from contagious diseases. Proof of vaccination is required at check-in.
- For the safety and well-being of all our Paw Guests, we require that all cats be up-to-date on vaccinations, including Feline Parvovirus, Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV), Feline Calicivirus (FCV), and Feline Herpesvirus (FHV). We also request proof of a recent blood test for FIV and FeLV. The course of vaccination must be completed at least two weeks before the date of check-in. Please provide these documents in the Tiny Paw Boarding Admission Form upon check-in.
- Additionally, please complete the Owner Consent Form online too.
Feeding Instructions:
- The Owner must pack sufficient meals for the stay. Meals should be labelled with the Cat’s name, date, and time of the meals (e.g., Crystal, 10 Aug 2024, dinner).
- The Owner must provide detailed feeding instructions. Tiny Paw will follow the Owner’s instructions to the best of their ability.
- Please refer to our packing checklist, Tiny Paw Packing List, to ensure your fur kid feels at home while away from home.
Medication Administration:
- Tiny Paw will administer medications as directed by the Owner. All medications must be clearly labelled with the cat’s name and dosage instructions.
Emergency Contact Information:
- The Owner must provide a valid emergency contact who is available during the cat’s stay.
Veterinary Care:
- The Owner must provide details of their preferred veterinarian. Tiny Paw will attempt to bring the sick cat to the Owner’s preferred vet.
- If Tiny Paw fails to contact or make an appointment with the preferred vet, Tiny Paw will take the sick cat to its designated vet at the Owner’s expense.
- In case of illness or injury, Tiny Paw will attempt to contact the Owner and the designated emergency contact.
- If the Owner cannot be reached, Tiny Paw is authorised to seek veterinary care for the cat at the Owner’s expense.
Personal Items:
- The Owner may bring personal items such as bedding, toys, and carriers.
- Tiny Paw is not responsible for damage to personal items.
Liability:
- Tiny Paw will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of the cat.
- The Owner agrees to hold Tiny Paw harmless for any illness, injury, or death that may occur, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Behavioural Issues:
- The Owner must disclose any known behavioural issues that may affect the cat’s stay.
- Tiny Paw reserves the right to refuse or terminate boarding if the cat displays aggressive or harmful behaviour.
Abandonment:
- If the Owner does not pick up the cat within 3 days after the scheduled check-out date and does not communicate with Tiny Paw, the cat will be considered abandoned.
- Tiny Paw will make reasonable efforts to contact the Owner and emergency contact before taking any further action, which may include surrendering the cat to an animal shelter.
Photographs and Videos:
- Tiny Paw may take photographs and videos of the cat during their stay for promotional purposes. If the Owner does not wish for their cat to be photographed, they must notify Tiny Paw in advance.
